On May 23, Isabella, from Melbourne, Australia, shared a video detailing how she and her husband created a wedding weekend that was perfect for them in hopes of inspiring others.
"If you weren't quite sure how to fit into the pageantry of weddings but still wanted to have a marriage and a party, I thought I'd talk through what we did because we felt exactly the same way," Isabella said in her post on TikTok. "This isn't to put down anyone who wanted a big wedding, they're fantastic, it just wasn't really our vibe."
The night before their wedding, the couple hosted drinks at their local pub. Isabella explained that this allowed them to avoid repetitive small talk with their guests, something she has a dislike of, and helped everyone relax and get to know each other before the big day. The gathering ended at 8 p.m. to ensure everyone was well-rested for the ceremony on the following day.
Isabella then moved on to their wedding morning, which started with breakfast at their favorite cafe with friends and family. Unlike traditional bridal party preparations, Isabella and her husband opted for a relaxed start to their day by inviting everyone to join them.
"The next day at 8 a.m., we got all our friends to meet up with us at our favorite cafe, Florian," Isabella said. "We just said we will be here if anyone wants to come."
The response was overwhelming, with 50 people showing up at the Melbourne cafe that could only accommodate 30.
"It was utter chaos. It was so much fun," Isabella said, adding that the atmosphere was lively and enjoyable.

Her father had even arranged for the cafe staff to bring out a surprise cake, which the couple spontaneously topped with dollar store candles.
Isabella's unconventional approach to her wedding has resonated with many. Her TikTok video has been viewed over 247,000 times and liked by more than 14,000 users so far.
The comments section is filled with viewers expressing their appreciation for her wholesome ideas.
One viewer, @riellife, wrote, "MARRIAGE PARTY thank you. I call it 'together forever party.' I really don't want it to feel like a wedding."
A TikTok user named Isabella said the idea was "so good."
Another user, @jpfi9, commented, "This is soooo perfect."
"I LOVE this! A wedding should literally be whatever you want! I hadn't even considered how chill a wedding could be like this," TikToker @user816391007 wrote.
