People with disabilities are the largest minority group in the U.S. at over 60 million, yet they often remain largely unrepresented. For example, 81% of people with disabilities don't' feel welcome in fitness spaces, which is compounded by the lack of access to adaptive options. And as much as 80% of persons with disabilities believe basic financial literacy skills, which are essential for daily living, are not covered in existing training programs.
